It started with a solitary figure, distilling spirits on a balcony, driven by determination and a touch of stubbornness. Our founder, Dan, an airline pilot with a passion for craft beverages, embarked on a journey to create something truly extraordinary.
From those humble beginnings, Owl Man Distillery emerged, pushing the boundaries of what was possible in the world of spirits. With relentless determination and a commitment to quality, Dan and his team crafted exceptional spirits that captivated the senses and delighted the soul.
But our journey didn't stop there. As we continued to innovate and explore new horizons, we saw an opportunity to expand our product line. With the introduction of premix cocktails, we found a new way to delight our customers and showcase the versatility of our spirits. Our premium dry gins are 100% handcrafted, produced, distilled, and bottled at our Macau distillery. This makes Owl Man Distillery an entirely native and authentically Macau company. We take pride in manufacturing and supplying Macau-made alcoholic drinks to both locals and the rest of the world.
Our Macau Original Gin is available in an array of different sizes. These range from 50ml mini-bar bottles, all the way through to 1litre bottles. Should you be looking for a more tailored-to-you premium gin experience, we invite you to send us your requests and we’ll do our best to accommodate your wishes.

DAN MCAULAY
FOUNDER
Dan McAulay is a airline pilot from New Zealand. Throughout his life, Dan has lived on almost every continent but chose to settle in Macau in 2010.
Through Dan’s passion for learning and expanding his technical skills, in 2019 his curiosity sparked the colossal idea to start a craft distillery. And so, Owl Man Distillery in Macau was born.
Dan has a background in electronic, this expertise allowed us to develop one of the most advanced and hi-tech craft distilleries in the world. Through our creation of bespoke hardware and software, Owl Man is able to craft the best possible spirits with repeatable accuracy to ensure the perfect sip time and time again.
REBECA FELLINI
CO-FOUNDER/HEAD DISTILLER
Born in Brazil, Rebeca has been living in Macau for more than 20 years. She has a deep passion for language and culture which makes her the perfect person the help create something truly local.
Thanks to her respect and understanding of various cultures, Rebeca has enabled us to bring balance to the culturally complimentary flavours that Macau is all about.
Rebeca has had a huge influence on the direction of the recipe development and is now the head distiller at Owl Man.
